Karin Camilleri

Worship DirectorKarin started playing the organ at the ripe age of 12. She has used her talents for the Lord since her early days at Tinley Park Church of Christ (now Parkview). Although in her younger years of playing the Imperials "Trumpet of Jesus" for a Sunday night special, she and the youth band are said to have put a crack in the back wall because they were so loud. Karin has since tried to turn in down a bit (Praise the Lord!) When Karin and her husband Jack became members of Deer Creek Christian Church, Karin began volunteering in the worship/music department. Under the expert leadership of co-workers and more importantly dear friends Pat & Kelly, God lead Karin to a staff position in the department where she helps to lead our congregation in worship each weekend to praise our wonderful Savior. Although after getting a wall torn down in the sanctuary, we don't ask Karin to do anything unless we are serious about it! Jack & Karin have the most beautiful daughters named Lily & Sophia both hand picked by God. Lily is homeschooled and Jack can always be found in the kitchen cooking something wonderful! We are excited to see how God leads us in the coming months!
