What is an Adult Bible Class (ABC)?
Adult Bible Classes (ABC’s) provide you with opportunities to connect and know other people within Deer Creek Christian Church. ABC’s have 6 – 20 members and meet weekly on Sunday mornings before or after your favorite worship service. The intimate size of ABC’s lend to effective teaching and provides fertile soil to build relationships.
Why choose an Adult Bible Class (ABC)?
ABC’s are an easy way to connect with others at Deer Creek. Since they meet during the time before or after our Sunday morning services, there’s no need to make a second trip to the church which hopefully fits you busy schedule!
ABC’s also give people a chance to make friends. At Deer Creek, we realize it’s easy to come in and out of a large worship gathering and never really meet people. They’re a place where you can share the ups and downs of life, serve others in times of need and be encouraged as you live our your faith.
ABC’s meet year round. The continuity provided by ABC’s has helped many people to build life long friendships.
Which Adult Bible Class (ABC) is right for me?
All of our Adult Bible Classes have their own distinct personality. Each class is unique due to the variety of life stages, lesson series and class activities.
We'd be happy to help you connect with a class that fits you. At Deer Creek we have several Adult Bible Classes that meet each Sunday. Look through the list below. The make up of many classes is self explanatory, while others are not. If you'd like a little guidance, stop by the Welcome Center, just outside the Family Life Center, call Randy Roberts at 672-6515, or drop him an e-mail rroberts@deercreek.org.
“I’m still not sure. The idea still kind of scares me.”
Studying the Bible can be intimidating, but studying it with people you don’t know can be down right scary! That’s why we strive to have different opportunities to help you right where you are. At Deer Creek, we have people at every point on the spiritual spectrum: some people are standing on water’s edge, still checking Christianity out, while others are like deep sea divers who are trained to live out their faith.
We can’t stress enough how important it is for you to dive deeper into God’s Word (the Bible). It’s important to start checking out the life lessons available in God’s Word. Once you begin to discover the direction and comfort that comes from daily Bible study, you will wonder how you ever lived without it.
