Since 1966, the Deer Creek congregation has sought to share the love of Jesus with Chicagoland's south suburban community. Meeting in the Blackhawk school in Park Forest, that original group lit the flame that has grown to become one of the larger congregations in the area.

We believe God has called us to be a multi-ethnic church in a multi-cultural community.  Our desire is to be a healthy church, realizing that healthy churches will grow.  Deer Creek is unique. We're large enough to provide a well-rounded program, yet intimate enough to minister to the needs of individuals that make up God's family.

We believe God has called us to minister to others and teach them to become disciples, so they can effectively reach out and continue the cycle.
