Our Future

			IMAGINE is a journey we’ve embarked upon as a church family at Deer Creek Christian Church. We have the opportunity to ignite a fire that will continue to burn and impact the region of the Chicago Southland long after most of us are gone. The Imagine Campaign is about creating a greater capacity for witnessing more transformed lives.
			THE PURPOSE The Imagine Campaign will: place Deer Creek in a highly visible location for the construction of a new Worship Center provide room for Deer Creek Christian School to grow and to expand allow Deer Creek to continue to serve the communities where it has been for 40 years open the door for Deer Creek to reach communities that are poised for rapid growth
	THE SITE The site is 48 acres. It borders I-57 and is highly visible from the north and the south. 35,000 cars pass this site every day of the year! How’s that for visibility? Thousands of unreached souls could see our church building every day! It’s surrounded by housing developments and large businesses that have bought land in the area. It is not only one of the fastest growing areas of Illinois, but one of the fastest growing areas of the nation! The potential harvest of unreached families in this area is enormous. Imagine what God could do with a church that is sold out to winning souls for Christ in the midst of all this growth!
	After much prayer and planning we launched into a capital campaign in the fall of 2006. God is working in incredible ways to make this all come together. In December 2006, our congregation began a 3 year effort to raise funds to pay off the 1.9 million dollar cost of the 48 acre I-57 Campus. We’re excited as we reflect on what the Lord has done, as we look forward to what’s to come!		Imagine What You Give Away Click Play
