THE SITE
The site is 48 acres.
It borders I-57 and is highly visible from the north and the south. 35,000 cars pass this site every day of the year! How’s that for visibility? Thousands of unreached souls could see our church building every day!
It’s surrounded by housing developments and large businesses that have bought land in the area. It is not only one of the fastest growing areas of Illinois, but one of the fastest growing areas of the nation!
The potential harvest of unreached families in this area is enormous. Imagine what God could do with a church that is sold out to winning souls for Christ in the midst of all this growth!
After much prayer and planning we are launching into a capital campaign in May 2010. God is working in incredible ways to make this all come together.
In December 2006, our congregation began a 3 year effort to raise funds to pay off the 1.9 million dollar cost of the 48 acre
I-57 Campus.
We’re excited as we reflect on what the Lord has done, as we look forward to what’s to come!
