Lanny joined the CC staff in 1991 to provide ministry to International students. He and his wife, Pat, served as missionaries in Brazil for six years.  He has served at Deer Creek Christian Church and churches in Humansville, Missouri and Topeka, Kansas.

Lanny is a graduate of Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri (B.S.L.; B. Th.), and the University of Kansas (M.A., Teaching English as a Second Language). He and Pat have four children.
